Google tools Reflection

In MIS course in Web 2.0 project, we required doing a presentation about Google tools; each student had to explain about one Google tool. I have learned from my colleagues' Google tools explanations and they were very useful. I will take about the most useful Google tools for me and the most that I use now ^^

GoOgle search:  

 

Google search has many tricks that make your search better. For example, If I want to limit the results to exactly what I want, I use the quotation “ ”  so what I write between these quotations will appear in the results. This very useful especially in my studying. Also Google search include Google features which they are very useful in our daily life like weather feature, we enter the name of the city and it temperature degree will appear.

Twitter:

After my colleague have explained about Twitter, I knew more about how I can use it like how to re tweet, reply and others since I am a new Twitter user. I use twitter to contact with my friends and people.

Facebook:

My colleague have explained about how we could create business card on Facebook. It was very beneficial explanation because Facebook is a very effective social network to promote your business. In future if I create my own business, I will know how to  promote it through Facebook.

Picasa:

Picasa is a very easy and interesting tool to edit pictures and videos. I use Picasa a lot to edit my pictures.

Google Chrome:

Now I use Google Chrome instead of Google, because it has many features like you can change the themes and download games and many other attractive features.

Google Reader:

Google reader from one of the most useful Google tools to me, because it allows you to get all the updates of your favorite sites in one page which is Google Reader instead of going to each site and check. Now, I can see all my friends’ blogs updates and edits and also my sites updates only with one click on Google Reader   

Google Calendar:

   

I learned how to use Google Calendar to set a reminder for my deadlines, so now with using Google Calendar I will not worry about forgetting my assessments deadlines.

Blogger:

I have learned how to create a blog, customize it, insert videos and pictures, how to add gadgets and other many things. Now I have my own blogger which is a very interesting thing because I can share my lovely times with my friends and other people.

GoOgle Sites:

Google sites offer you with the opportunity to share your information with people. I have learned how to create a site, add pages, adjust the navigation, choose a template and other things.

GoOgle Docs:

Google Docs allow you to create different kinds of online documents and work on them with people. It is the most useful Google tools specially in studying because it allows you to work with people online as if you set together. I learned how to insert a document into Google Docs and edit it then share it with people; also I learned how to create online presentation.

Gmail: 

I found Gmail better than Hotmail because it has many features. The most things I like about Gmail is that I can add my friends and contact with them.

Today is my Birthday

Happy Birthday to me ^^    

Today is my birthday ^-^ now I became officially 20 years old, so I became adult. I wish I could be teenager again, I am too sad to become 20 because I feel that I become old now. However, this is life, each child will grow. I am soo glad because this is my first Birthday that I don’t have school or college and it’s in the weekend, because since 10 years ago, my birthdays were always at the same day of the final exams days. I wish that I could celebrate with my friends specially my best friend Amna, but because it’s Friday we can’t, because we should gather with our family. However, me and Amna went out last Thursday and celebrate my Birthday earlier ^^ so, I decided to celebrate my 20 Birthday with my lovely family. I would like to make a big cake, but the shop refused, because they need to make an order before one week at least. Yesterday my brother bought a small cute cake for my birthday, I like the cake shape, and it taste very delicious ^^

Nightmare on Elm Street

One of the best horror movies I have watched is Nightmare on Elm Street. The movie story is about group of students that have a scary dream about the gardener who was in their kindergarten. This gardener attacks the teenager students in their dreams and kills them with his sharp iron nails.  Those group of students shouldn't sleep if they want to be surviving. But at the end, two couple of students will kill the mean gardener and they will survive. This was a great horror movie, although it was little bit scary, but I was interacting with the students and feel their scary feelings. Really I like this movie and I am ready to watch it again and again. This movie was showing in summer 2010, and at the end of the movie there was a scary surprise which is the gardener returned again and killed one of the couple's mother which meant that there will be a new part of Nightmare on Elm Street. And I am waiting it. The film starring  Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner and Thomas Dekker, as well as the film's director Samuel Baye.

The lost dream

Lost dream is my best drama ever. It’s called in Turkish Genco which is the main actor’s name which is Omar in Arabic, but when they translated in Arabic they changed the drama title to the lost dream because of its story. The story talks about Omar who has lost his sister and his parents in earth quick that happened in turkey many years ago. He tries to do his best to find his sister who adopted by other family and tell her what happened to their parents. When Omar lastly found his sister Asma, unfortunately she treats him very badly and did not admit that he is her brother. I really in love with this amazing drama. I was very sad when they showed the last episode, because I will not see this gorgeous drama any more. But here is a good news; I heard that they will make a second season which I hope is true. What make me love this drama is because all the events happened in the college; it talks about the students’ dailies stories and the excited events of their life.

lovely complex

It’s the first anime that I have watched, and it’s became my best anime and couple ever, that even if I see it many other times I will feel the same feelings that I have felt when I watched it in the first time, the feeling of pleasure, interesting, exciting, laughing and unhappy for its sad moments. The anime story is about classmates who study in a high school in Japan who are a girl Risa Koizumi and a boy who is Atsushi Ootani. At the earlier episodes they were form a funny couples who don’t like each other because Koizumi is much taller than Ootani, and the people always make fun of them because their heights. But with the time and with the excited events they love each other, but the highest is still a problem; that why it’s called lovely complex. However, at the end they will beyond the height problem and will admit their love. It’s funny and romance anime which makes me sometimes feel sorry for them and most times laughing at their stupid and funny act. I advise you to watch this best anime in the anime world because you will live their story and feel their feelings.

For all Italian food fans

What you are waiting?!! Hurry up!! Go to Vapiano to entertain the amazing delicious vary kinds of Italian food. You will find all of your favorable Italian food, different pasta types, and different pizza types and after that you can enjoy drink coffee and entertain the Italian sweets, this all in Vapiano. I looooooove Italian food especially the pink sous pasta with full of cheese and the margarita pizza, also the salad with cheese and bread. Vapiano is the best place that  provide very delicious Italian taste; I always go to it and enjoy my favorable food. It located in Dubai mall, in the ground floor and in Dubai Media City. Hurry up and don’t miss the lovely Italian taste.

I believe that Palm Jumeirah deserve to be one of the seven wonders in the world, since when you visit Palm Jumeirah you feel as if you are in a different region of the world, surrounded by palm trees and beach. All the houses are organized and all the streets are clean. For people who don't know about Palm Jumeirah, it's located in Dubai, UAE. For the good fortune, we have moved to our home in Palm Jumeirah in summer 2008, exactly when they have finished Palm Jumeirah construction. We were the first people who live in this amazing area ^^
